He won't pay.
My friend is divorcing her A husband. She has a restraining order against him and he's out of the house. He has supervised visitation of their 3 yr. old daughter.
She told me he refuses to pay anything. They have shared bills, but the house is in her name only and has been.
In my past situation I had everything separate, so this is a new territory.
What can I suggest to her?

Sorry AZ, I'm in a weird mood tonite,,,,
Does she have a lawyer? Is he paying child support? Its hard when everything is in your name, no recourse that I know of except maybe alimony. Do they even grant that these days?

No, she doesn't have a lawyer. I've suggested it, but financially I don't know if she can hire one. Will suggest going to the court where she filed and maybe they can help direct her. Thanks!
