He's Back in Prison
 

I have to admit I'm kind of relieved, I know it sounds awful but he can't bother me from in there. He had been back around talking his talk and trying to gt back together. Only because he knew he was going back and thought it would look better for him if he said we were back together. Seriously delusional. We've been apart for almost a year, we'll be divorced in August. I don't care as long as he's out of my hair. My life has improved so much. I'm me again. Things can only get better from here.

As we get older let's hope we get better, otherwise only older. You sound like you are in a good place which makes it less likely you'll pick that kind of man again.

I am so glad you have found YOU. And I am so glad that you are able to see through the manipulation. So many of us have got caught up in that quagmire to our cost.

I'd love it if you could share how yoo got to where you're at.

ahhhh the manipulations. it took me forever to finally see them. i'm glad you can see them, too, and didn't fall for it.

i used to blame my ex for the manipulations because he was such a cad, but recovery finally began for me when i saw my part in wanting to be part of his manipulations. sick. sick. sick. thought i would just die without him.
