NorthEast Get Together!!
Hi Everyone!! Kglast and I would like to organize a meet and greet somewhere in the New England area. We are looking at September, we can get some great off peak rates at some resorts. Maybe a great seafood dinner and a fun day trip. We would like some feed back and we hope we can get alot of responses. Thanks, Kerry
Ok, you want ideas?
~ Portsmouth NH
~ Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun Casinos in CT
~ Burlington VT
~ Adirondacks
~ Providence RI
Just some thoughts,,,
The name of my island is Plum Island. It's located in northern mass, almost to the NH border. My "uptown" is Newburyport, a very old, NE seaport with TONS of good shopping, good eats and of course, eclectic and HIPPIE things to do.
Anyone else with some suggestions?
Peace

However, there are some reasonable accomindations in the surrounding towns. Hampton NH, Seabrook NH, Salisbury MA, Amesbury Ma. All of these town are within 5 miles of Newburyport. Just as a point of reference, Portsmouth NH is more "urban" and only 10 minutes north of newburyport.
I for sure know one thing, you guys settle on this area and you got a PERSONAL tour guide
Peace

I am very familiar with seabrook NH. I know a decent place to stay no frills but affordable. Keep this tread going~~~ The bigger the better or is it the more the merrier....
Providence is great too - lots of excellent restauraunts - especially Italian on the hill...and Thayer St is very cool....
That being said, I will go anywhere - whatver works for everyone else (hmmm.... a little bit of codie here????)
