(((Sha))) I was where you are in February when I found this site and first started posting...I know how hard it is and I too, was afraid of "abandoning" my ex....I ended up having no choice as the drinking got worse and he became more verbally and emotionally abusive.

I hope it does not come to the point that i have to abandon my partner, i feel that would be very sad for both of us, i am glad it has worked out for you.
Everyone here has been very welcoming and i do feel better than i did yesterday.
Today i caught up with some old friends and we got together for a BBQ, they are all doing great, that lifted me enourmously.
