Anyone read this?

In an effort to educate myself on ways I can assist my SIL from her AH should she ask for my help ...

Has anyone read Drugs, Drunks and Debits by Doug Thorburn?

It sounds like he's in a position to offer advice on how to protect oneself from the financial implications created from living with an alcoholic.

The library doesn't carry it so I was thinking about dropping the $20 to buy it.

Detaching financially can be one of the nicest and wisest things to do for yourself. I would imagine you can get a used version for a lot less. Did you check Amazon?
