Yes, I think this is dead on. I knew the manipulation was coming after my moment of clarity, and I was scared to death of it. That's when I decided to not answer the phone. It was hard as he**, but I knew I couldn't withstand the manipulation. After probably two months of "no contact," I could answer the phone strictly to discuss the business of divorce. Give yourself the time you need to put some things in perspective.
