Negative Voices
Negative Voices
Here is the thread to the Power Post on negative voices. Many of us have a critical voice operating in the background of our minds. Some call it "stinkin thinkin". Mine is the quiet one but it's messages affect me profoundly. Why can't I just be someone with nothing wrong? I'm tired of being picked on by myself. Man, if I cannot be good to myself then how is it possible that someone else can be good to me? They could be perfect to me and that negative thinking will ruin it.....then I would complain that it got messed up. Grrrrr, i'm so mad at that voice. To the gallows with it!
It was mentioned in another thread (thank you Ayers). Just being reminded and made aware has helped me out of the funk i've been in. I feel much better. I hope the refresher helps some of you guys.
Love to you all....

Thank you for sharing that with us, I hadn't seen it here before.
As I read it, I kept thinking of the negative voices as 'enemies' and thinking of the phrase "keep your friends close and your enemies closer."
I also like the idea of using the negative voice/criticism as a tool... and then get rid of it after it has served it's purpose....that really turns things around. Great post!
