Good Friday! Oh no it was not!
It was Easter,a four day break we thought. Packed our bags and off we went. Ohh what a relief to get away from it all.
Friday (1st day of the Easter break, a phone call) she had been kicked out of rehab again. I've lost count now how many times it is. Got caught drinking.
I thought OK damm it, your are not going to muck this one up. So she called me ranting and raving, what have I done, You know the emotional poor me stuff. I just said, when you decide to grow up and get serious about your life, I will be there. Right now I am busy.
On Saturday, she rings me again. Misses her kids, whats she going to do? Her kids dont want her home. She has no money.
I told her to go live with the drunk she met 6 months ago in rehab.
She did and she's still pissed.
I just wanted to share this, because I am now getting so much stronger and I believe we all have our point of enough is enough.

Yes, you are being strong. That is something so very hard for all of us who love someone who is an alcoholic. I hope you take it another step and find something to make yourself happy, if only for a few minutes. See a pretty sunset, watch a good movie, whatever pushes your button.
