Wow! This is an old post. But I do have an update. I have noticed over these past few months that he gets angrier than he did when he was drinking. I guess this is because he's now feeling more emotions. At first, they were like a child's temper tantrums. Now, they are much more controlled, and he is more open for discussion. The discussions are helpful, because I learn better ways to communicate with him.

In answer to your question, he did not fall off the wagon. In fact, one of his favorite comments to make is, "[Such-and-such] really pissed me off, but I won't drink over it." I still sometimes think I (we all) deserve a chip.
