Amen to that, friends! I love thinking that you guys are the good thing to come out of alcohol! I've learned so much and I think about you guys throughout my day and offer a little prayer for you!

My own little private sanctuary of strength, love, comfort, compassion, understanding, support, etc..............where have ya'll been all my life!?!

Chero, I understand the dread. I dreaded the phone calls--would he talk "straight" or slur his words? I dreaded going home. Would he be straight or would I "smell that smell?" I am new to the boards but have already been so touched so many times. Thank you!
