She is in ICU
 

I found out this morning my Xwife is in the hospital in the ICU. She is bleeding in the GI tract. She had been there a couple of days and no one knew. I have since called her parents and they are planning to come see her...maybe take her home.

Pray its her bottom. I fear its just another rung down on the ladder.

In less than five years, a beautiful woman, a good Mom, has destroyed her world. She may even lose her life. :(

I hope she'll be alright Guy, truly I do. But, it's all up to her as to whether or not this is her bottom. We can only pray that it is.

Just sad...........some guilt that I could not prevent this or somehow help cause it. Not going to say anything to the kids just yet. I need to wait and find out more.

I kinda thought you would be feeling some of that guilt.

Its not you sweets.... you have to believe that it is not you. There is nothing you could have done. How did you find out she is in the hospital?

Probably a good thing to get all the info before telling the kids.

Doesn't make it hurt any less though I know...I'll be thinking of you and her :)

Maybe it's the best thing to happen to her right now... I know that doesn't make it any easier to know when someone you care for is in such bad shape. Just like the others who have already shared...you did not bring this about. I'll pray that she will heal up from this and that it will be the wake-up call she needs.
You are wise to spare the kids of any needless pain, they can know what's going on soon enough and when the time is right.

guy...my prayers for your xw, you and your daughters. let's pray this will be a wake up call for your xw....but in the mean time, please know you could not have changed this outcome. you tried...many, many times.

when my x is out there in trouble, it helps me to do a gratitude list for myself.

I'm so sorry but glad you found out. Glad you told her parents. Yes! Let's hope this is her bottom. To be in ICU with a GI bleed implies a pretty serious situation, The docs will be honest with her. Prayer to you.

I am truely sorry to hear about the your x but somehow she made it to the hospital and she is getting the best help so often our A's don't even make it to the hospital as mine never made it. I hope she sees that this is a good time to stop. Praying for all of you.
