Update on my Daughter!! Good news.
Well, She finished her radiation this week. Poor kiddo, her little mouth and throat are all burned up and so painful. BUT, she met w/ both her Cancer Drs. and they both are sure the cancer tumor is gone!! They need to wait a few weeks 6? for a scan to be done. I am so scared to breathe a sigh of relief, but do feel confident in what they are saying. Neither Dr. is of the personality to say these things if they aren't sure. The one even went so far to say he wouldn't even need a scan he is that sure!! THANK GOD!!!!
and everyone who has sent prayers up. And, the technology that we have and wisdom to treat medical cases.
She is still not able to eat, can drink water. Hopefully, her mouth will begin to heal and she can start things by mouth. She is feeling some better, and just the mental relief from the Drs. news has helped her. She has been able to do more Mommy things and that makes her feel better too.

glory be and halleiluah!!! that is wonderful news. this has surely been a true test of faith for you, and i hope you know how much so many of us have been thinking of you and your daughter.

remember at christmas time when we bought ornaments? i bought one of a soldier (because that was your idea, remember) and the little soldier had a coiled gold cord with a minature soldier attached to the bigger soldeir.
i pulled it out of my christmas storage box, and hung it in my ficus tree in my living room....it reminded me of you and your daughter and how you were marching forward.

ahhhh, Embraced. That made me cry! Touched my heart so deeply. I haven't let myself cry in awhile.....
