I hope I m ready
Today I decided to make a leap into my future ......................................
I had been with my exah for 9 years and always remained faithful . Well, today i have made a decision to start living again . i am already studying for a degree , ive redecorated my home and started to socialise with my girl friends .My days are filled with work , study and caring for my beautiful children .
Last year I was introduced to a close friends brother in law when I was visiting. He seemed really pleasant but we didnt talk much because for some reason my mouth refused to work . Well anyway to cut a long story short, there have been several conversations with my girl freind regarding dinner dates and match making but, nothing has happened .
Well , today I rang my friend and asked for his number so I could ask him out on a date !!!!!!!!!!OMG . Ive never done that before .So she said that she would call and check if she could give me his number . She called back to say ..................He would ring me tonite .........OMG .
I have a mixture of feelings ....nervous/fear ...What will we talk about , will I look ok .I also feel a little guilty .......I still have alot of feelings for my ex but I know I can not be with him anymore my sake and my childrens. Hey its only a date , its a practise run for my future life and moving on . i have no expectations about this date but just feel I need to do it to get some self confidence back.
Ps I have already checked if he has had any problems with drink or drugs !!!!

Good luck on your date! I think this is a strong step in a new direction. It's important to get on out there again. Maybe there will be no love connection but hey, it's simply wonderful to get to know new souls and relate with others...touch lives and have them touch yours. It's all good in my books.
