So excited...signed apartment lease
I signed a lease today and will be moving into my own apartment Feb. 2!!
I'm excited and ready for a fresh start!
My lemon themed decorations will finally come out of storage!
When life hands you lemons, make lemonade (or decorate a new kitchen.)
On a reflective note, I really am glad my ex never called me back. I thought I wanted him to, but I was just avoiding moving on, fear of the unknown and wanting to help him. Now, I can help myself. The unknown will now become whatever I choose to make it!
I have finally accepted the things I cannot change. I feel so much more empowered!

Good for you !!! I think one of the hardest things was for me to sign the lease to my apt. I still have contact with AH, so it still messes with my head. (my fault, I know.) You will find, as I have, that your new apt. will become "your space" somewhere that you will find peace and calm that you have not had for a long time. Happy decorating !

He's not trying to get me back at all. Never had tried since I moved out.
Basically, he just let me go. I was the one still hanging on and wanting him to change things for us.
My mom did ask if I was going to tell him I moved. (She's still really good friends with his mom. I told her not to say anything to either one.)
I'm not calling him. 1 he won't answer or 2 he'd be negative anyway.
