I woke up this morning deciding that I really can not keep giving others the power over my good times or feelings.
I mean I did that with my alcoholic wife and when she took off I thought the world would end.

Now I did that with girl I was seeing and it was driving me crazy on strings of her calling or coming by.

My God I have 5 other ladies knocking at my door and I’m worried about this one and not getting anything back from her.

So today I will take back her Christmas gift.

If and when she becomes gift worthy then so be it.
But I think this next year that is coming up will be a different attitude. If you want into my life then you bring some respect with you, if not don’t waste my time.

I've been doing the same pathetic thing, getting all attached to a man who gives me nothing when I have all these better alternatives pounding on my door. You know why we do it? It's safer than a real relationship - we know exactly what we're going to get from the nothing people - nothing. So it's safe in some freaky way.

Time for us to change, dontcha think?

Well, I will say this, after seeing how handsome you are and reading what you write, I found it nearly impossible that there wouldn't be a few women lined up outside your door. Who knows who you might meet in the gift return line? You might as well have some lunch while you are out.

Mr C. It is my understanding that a gift is a gift. JMO but I think it is wrong to ask for it back. Maybe I misunderstood and you haven't given it to her yet? Then it is OK to not give it and return it??

She never came by, in fact I have even seen her for over a month.

Im right there with you, In 2007 I have decided that Im worth so much more then what I have been given and what I have accepted. Let me tell you, if a man approaches me now.... he will have to bring a Hell of alot more then just respect because Im not willing to settle anymore.

And it better be really good, cuz I have other plans and I have no intention of changing my plans...
