Maybe he did see you, sweetie, and you just weren't aware of it. If given the opportunity, I wouldn't enter the kingdom of heaven without once last glimpse of the people I love. Perhaps his last vision wasn't of that hotel room. Perhaps it was of you.
Sending much love your way and prayers for peace in the upcoming days ahead.

I agree with FDM
We dont know what happens, but I have a feeling that we are taken by angels.... and Im almost sure that we see what we love most.... and that somehow we are able to comfort those people ... I felt my parents when they passed... and it was a loving, peaceful feeling.
Enjoy the feeling of him beside you because I think that is real, just as real as any thing tangable .... after all, its our feelings that are our passions right?
Please dont forget to take care of yourself too hon.

I have not posted here at SR in a very long time, but your post prompted me to share that I just lost my alcoholic/addict brother to suicide a few days before Halloween. He died with the NA book open and next to the phone which was off the hook. There is no greater pain, nor greater sense of helplessness, anger and sorrow.
Many blessings to you.
Many blessings to you.
Oh TomsGirl... Your last post makes me want to cry.
I just wanted to send more love, hugs and prayers your way again today. I truly admire your strength and compassion. And I absolutely believe he's right there on the couch with you, too. I've had experiences myself that make me a strong believer that those who have passed are still with us and watch over us every day. Take comfort in that.

I had to id him today. They just showed me pics of his face. Oh, if all A's could see what the booze did to him. So, so sad.
