I have tried to create scheduled chats for almost two years now, and only wish that everyone who posts saying "Why isnt anyone in chat?" would all show up at once.
I admited I am powerless over chat, and my life is now more manageable...

I came and joined in for a while and it was fun. I think we all have varied schedules that make it difficult to beam into the chatroom at the appointed time.
Jon, you do your best to arrange the chat times. It's up to the rest of us to show up for the party. And I'm still in a quandry as to the whole idea of "what if the hokey-pokey is what it's all about?" I guess I should just put my "whole self in and shake it all about."

Oh, and when I ask members to become Chat Mods they mysteriously vanish, never to be seen again.
What we need is 2-4 very committed anons who will show up at the same time each and every week no matter what. Within a few weeks, it would build all on its own. It's hard for people to commit, which I completely understand...

I personally have a hard time chatting at appointed times, because I'm on Eastern Standard Time, and I can't chat until everyone is in bed and not looking over my shoulder. I do check in fairly frequently at unappointed times, but have never caught anyone. I'd love to chat with you Meg, but nothing around my house is regular!:p

It is the same in my house... I usually come on only when I have "alone time". My kids aren't in bed until 8pm... and the chat starts at 6pm. I guess I am just as guilty of not coming to chat as everyone else
