Hi Everyone,

So I was setting up my second pick up of our stuff one item being my sons golf clubs.

Of course I get an e-mail after my friend had benn there to pick the stuff up "oh sorry I forgot the golf clubs".

Sigh.

why can't they just keep it simple and be focused?

Well Jeri,

Unfortunately they don't realize that by doing these things they are digging themselves in deeper. Forgetting the golf clubs as we know is prolonging the whole thing, instead of choosing to do the work that needs to done which is getting sober. And it just turns me off more and more.

Now a golf club incident would have made me think in the past "oh he really does care about me, he forgot the golf clubs for an excuse to see me.' Now I see it as he cares about me for him, nothing to do with me, he DID forget the golf clubs to figure out a way to have contact with me so he can keep trying to manipulate me. That way he doesn't have to do what he needs to do, sober up.

I've been wondering the last few days how much he lied to me, how long he really has been using.

How much conning was actually going on.

i understand that.....it does make you wonder what was real and what wasn't real.

with xah i have come to know none of it was real except the addiction. the times we had that were good were just fleeting moments....the addiction ruled the rest of the time.

don't let your head spin trying to figure it out, ngaire.
