you need to find your own recovery,for yourself. You are not the cause for a single drop that went down his throat.

Yikes, just hearing these words brought up major emotions in me!!! My husband too thought that the past (read: the night before) was over and that I had a problem if I was bothered by it. It was all about making me look like the bad guy instead of him. Just know that this is many of our experiences, and you are not alone. You did not cause this, you have absolutely nothing to do with his drinking.

Welcome Drained and Relax I am so sorry drained with the exception of the intensity of the abuse you have endured I must say that the talk of the AH is similiar although mine never stops. He is too much in denial. Or going down the nile anyway, this is a great place to be and your advice thus far is good. I understand.
