Mike wanted to let everyone know that he just got out of the hospital today.... he had a cluster of 5 "cardiac events", which is the politically correct term for a heart attack. Considering he has had 6 heart attacks before this we are very lucky that he is doing so well. The doctors said that there is no additional damage done to the heart muscle this time so that is something to be thankful about.

I have been talking with him off and on today and he is tired but doing well, sucking down jello and peeking in the forms every so often is about all he can do....SO if you have PMed him with any issues please redirect them to me.

He has alot of support with his fellowship in Vegas and they will be taking good care of him. He has an appt with the doc tommrow so he will find out more and I will let you all know. The drugs have worn off now and he said it hurts to breath but his blood pressure is almost normal and that is a good sign. He is not sleeping but maybe 2 hours at a time, but hopefully he will feel stronger tommrow.

He misses us all and hopes to come back and post soon.

Cynay, you know how deeply this touches me. I love Mike dearly and the time I spent with him demonstrated how much he embraces life. I'm glad to hear he is okay at this point. I wish more folks on this board could meet him. He is great fun and a truly kind and caring person. I was able to spend some social time with him when he was in Phoenix and he is one of the most memorable people I've ever met. My prayers are with him, as is my love.

I do know how deeply this touches you cuz Mike and I are really very close friends.... This one took me for a loop too hon. Its funny.... this morning I knew there was something wrong and just when I picked up the phone to call him.... it rang and he was telling me what happened.... Scared me to death.

But he is in good spirits tonight.... having some pain but in good spirits. Im reading him the boards and he is enjoying it and loves knowing what is going on... I have even seen him peek in the forms a couple times today.... what do they say .... Its hard to keep a good man down.... He is kinda a pain at taking his meds (especially pain pills) and keeping his bum in bed.... but you got to love this mans spirit.

I agree I wish everyone could meet him and enjoy how truely amazing he really is....

I read to him what all of you wrote and he is truely touch.
