HI guys
Sorry I am late to this one but wanted to add my 2 cents worth. I am dating a guy who has 20 yrs clean & sober. He knows I enjoy a glass of red wine now and then and is very comfortable ordering non alcoholic wine or beer when we are out, or just having a coke or water. He has told me that his sobriety is his issue, and that my decision to drink or not drink should be about ME and not about him. If an A is working a program, s/he will learn to set boundaries about where to go and who to be around. I believe it is up to each of us to respect those boundaries in the lives of those who are close to us.
