Hi Ho Hi Ho it's off to court

I go...for the umpteenth time in 6 months!!!!
My exH (not an A) finally was hired on to a new firm
a couple of weeks ago so the child support issue is up again.
I hope that his income is:
1. the same as before
2. more than it was before...
Clearly #2 would be wonderful. I am just happy that he is gainfully
employed again and money will be coming in....
Those freeloaders are expensive.....
I will let you know how it goes when I get back...
Wish me tons of luck in my #2 wish coming true!!!!!
(Not a selfish motive. as he and his new wife will also reap the
benefits of more money!!!!.....okay...lol.)

Wow, S and I have always made adjustments to CS without having to go to court. We just share income info when ever there is a change. But in my case we make about the same anyway, with shared custody what I pay her only amounts to maybe two dinners out a month!

You obviously have a nice, accommodating ex that is willing to work
with you and not against you my dear.
Since my ex has remarried he has turned into a different man.
Where my boys used to come first in his life they now take a
back seat.....more like at the back of the bus!
My child support is mandated through the court system. Which is
good there is a fantastic paper trail going on there. If he gets a
new job or wage increase it is up to me to take him to court to
up the ante.....gotta be one good detective to keep up with that
kind of info, cause as you can imagine he doesn't volunteer any info!
I was asking for attorneys fees past my initial retainer...but
my attorney said she doubted the court would grant them...
so she waived the balance on my account which is about $600.00!!!!
Just goes to show home much guilt some of those attorneys
carry to do something so nice!!!!
So yeah buddy it's been a good day so far!!!!!!

LUMP sum of $2040...the cheap ******* wanted to pay me $20
per month initially!!!!!! I really think he was hoping I'd kick off
then he wouldn't be out the whole thing!!!! I can't believe the court
allowed only $100 per month, considering I have already spent the
$2040 on th kids the last few months...I guess I should call the
creditors and make that kind of deal too!!!! Yeah right.....

I have told many people that I could not have picked a better ex-wife! LOL!!!

Now my second pick for an ex-wife was not at ALL willing to work with me....
(but you all know that story)

I'm glad you got what you're entitled to, fair is fair. Just a question though... you think you could get the same results using a moderator next time? Might save on some legal fees. But what the hey, sounds like your ex needs a judge's gavel for motivation

I think if he would have found another way to stall today the
judge would have gavelled him....Whew what a mood the judge
was in, I have seen on an average of two times a month for the
last several and today was not a day to cross him.
He told one couple..."my court will not tolerate games,
next time either of you tries it will come with a price!"
He meant jail time......pretty scarey man if you cross him....
Thanks Jazz....it is fair...my kids reap the benefits so it's money
well spent.

Sheesh! You know people forget that Judges are people too. How would you like it if your job was to sit a domestic law courtroom all day long and listen people **** and moan about each other? You're just sitting there thinking about how your own kids aren't doing their home work, you wife's pissed at you cuz you forgot something on the grocery list... what ever.... And these two *****s are arguing about something that is a clear cut state guidleine like child support!

Good gawd I have had some days where anyone walking into my court room would have been hanged for j walking!

*BANG*
Off with his head!

I have been in his court room so much I can now predict his
responses! I found myself cringing and eyeball rolling today...
and that was at an attorney that was from another county!!!!!
He was hell bent on pissing the judge off and my case was up
next!!!!!! Yikes!!!!

Oh man!!! I'd be kicking the guy under the table!

Years ago I was in a bad traffic accident, not my fault. My insurance Co. told me to go to court on the date the offender appeared to testify that I was injured and incurred medical expenses. So I go and there and listen to like 10 cases before mine. No kidding at least 4 guys walked up there busted with repeat DUIs and driving on a suspended license. The judge read the charges, the arresting officer spoke about the specifics, then the judge would ask the defendant if he had anything to say. The defendant would say. "But your Hon...."

*bang*

"30 days in jail. Bailiff, take the prisoner away"

By the time my case was up I was freaking out and I didn't do ANYTHING wrong! LOL!!!
