On the View today.

They had a guy 26 years old that has a book out
called "Binge to Blackout" very interesting.
He drank for 3 years while at home and his mom
was totally unaware he had a problem...Might be
a good book for those of you with children that
drink to excess....

Unhappy Concerned for Husband and Son

My "H" is a heavy (binge) type drinker and also dabbles in drugs, at my Son's 17th birthday party we took my son, and 3 of his friends to a resturant in a college town and there were so many people going that we took 2 vehichles. I drove my 11 yr old daughter and her friend and his parents and my "H" drove our son and his 3 friends. After dinner I drove off with my van full of people and he took off with with my son and his 3 buddies and called a girl that went to college at that town, rounded up a bunch of her friend and snuck my son and his friends into the bar got them totally drunk untill they were hanging their heads out the window puking. I called to check on them and my husband told my son to tell me that they had a flat on the truck and would be started home soon. Well after 4 hours passed they finally got home and when I questioned them they had lied about the flat and my husband finally came true about going to the bar with the boys and the next morning the puke on the side of my truck gave away the rest of the story. My "H" acts like this is all ok, He has ruined every talk I have had with my son about what happens when you drink, and about being responsible, my "H" says that our son is close to being a man, it won't hurt him. I am at a loss, I feel so let down and disrespected as a mother and wife. Dont even know where to start to iron this all out. My son thinks its just okay to drink and get drunk with his friends and his dad anytime he wants. How stupid is my husband? why do people not think? What in the world to I do, he has created a monster. Maybe I should have left him a long time ago, when the kids where smaller. I feel somewhat responsible for this even happening.
