(((Jen))) hope you are feeling better..you did great last night. Don't carry the load of guilt he is trying to put on you...all you did was pick up the phone when he called. You had nothing to do with his predicament.
He had to worry about himself and clean up his own mess and now he doesn't like that....oh,well. If he gets tired of doing that, he might be motivated to do something about it.

I found that setting boundries with my exA was like setting boundries
with my kids. They pout, act out and complain...My answer to that
OH well get used to it.
Jen, I can not imagine living life the way you do. Running to erase
history on the pc, keeping my mouth shut (as if I was a child) walking
on eggshells, worried that anything I said would set off a time bomb!
I can't seem to remember...what is it you are gettiing out of this
