Inspiration from Ozzy Osbourne *eek*

I know this sounds really wierd, but yesterday afternoon on my way home from work I had a CD playing of Ozzy Osbourne and the last song on the cd is one called "Changes". Its not the usual rockin Ozzy song but soft and full of emotion. He is singing with his daughter Kelly, and I really listened to the lyrics and realized with only one or two changes it fits how I feel perfectly. It actually has given me some inspiration to let go of some things and begin to take care of myself. I think this is something I will listen to when things get bad, and I need a little boost. Here are the lyrics (with the changes) that I play over and over in my head.

Kelly:]

I feel unhappy

I am so sad

I lost the best friend

That I've ever had

[Ozzy:]

She is my baby

I love her so

But it's to late now

I've let her go

[Both:]

We're going through changes (ohh - [chorus])

We're going through changes (ahh - [chorus])

[Kelly:]

We've shared the years

We've shared each day

I love you Lisa

But you’ve turned away

[Ozzy:]

You know the bottle

Is an evil thing

My baby is gone now

She's lost her way

[Both:]

(ohh ahh - [Chorus])

We're going through changes (ohh - [chorus])

We're going through changes (ohh - [chorus])

(ahh - [Chorus])

[Kelly:]

It took so long

To realize

I can still hear

Her last goodbyes

[Ozzy:]

Now all my days

Are filled in tears

Wish I could go back

And change the years

[Both:]

We're going through changes

We're going through changes (changes - [Chorus])

We're going through... Changes

[Both:]

Changes

Changes

Changes

Thumbs up Talk about a blast from the past...

That song was originally on the album titled IV I think...but I listened to it as a teen because my brother was a Black Sabbath freak (still loves Ozzy and he's 49...my brother, not Ozzy). Wow, haven't heard that song in years!!! It was one of my all time favorites just because it was so mellow.
Who woulda thunk it???

Yeah I have heard it for years but I guess yesterday I was in the right frame of mind to really listen to it and the emotions it brought up in me made me realise she HAS lost her way, there are changes going on in our lives and I have to let go.
Its strange how something can suddenly give you inspiration out of the blue from unthought of places. Maby its just me and everyone thinks this is just silly, but it works for me for now and thats what really matters, right?

I don't think it's silly. Call it the AHA moment or the moment of clarity, whatever you like - if it gets me to a place of acceptance and then action it's a da*n good thing.
