Thank you, everyone, for your prayers and good wishes. You know, Equus, my dog, Marty, hasn't left my side all week, so he must have heard you all and delivered your message personally. Nothing better than a snuggle with man's best friend, even one who happens to look like a pig.

Judy, the shots seem to be working, as my white cell count has climed from 1,000 to 14,000. So things are heading in the right direction. I've got an appointment with my primary care physician in the morning and another one at the hospital tomorrow afternoon to check my white count again and make sure it doesn't drop. Apparently, the anti-thyroid drug I took can stay in your system for quite a while, and my hematologist expects my white cell count will drop again. Then Wednesday, I have an appointment with the eye specialist who took care of me in the hospital. So, hopefully between the three of them, my doctors can get my eye problem resolved and I can get back to work.
