It was only 3 days actually ...... I thought this was going to be so much worse than it is, so actually it's a good thing I guess!
Shania has a new friend, my son of all people. I suppose she feels safest with him, he makes no demands, no training, just running and playing, nice and relaxing. Jon is very protective of her, if another dog snarks at her he will correct the other dog and tell that dog in no uncertain terms to leave her alone! Shania's little protector LOL.
On a totally different note, but still OT, Jon got a nice size splinter in his foot yesterday. I couldn't get into the doctor today so ran him to the ER to have the splinter removed. I refused to let them give him a shot of novacaine to remove it (shots in the feet are extremely painful) and asked them to just numb the area. It took a whole 3 minutes and he screamed and cried and finally he said through his tears to the doctor & nurse "I told you to effing stop it right now!" (OMG, I was horrified, although I know where he learned that <blushing very badly>) The splinter was removed and he is right as rain now, but I learned something about my son today ..... I'm not sure what it is though.
