Yeah, you certainly did get lucky.

One of the first few things I thought of when I heard the news this morning was your return from Italy, and Minnie's trip here to the US, even though that was weeks ago. It's funny, but I've learned to care about people that I've never even met f2f.

I personally have to praise and thank the UK and officials
at Heathrow Airport for their incredible discovery of what could
have been a horrible disaster to human life. I am in deep gratitude.

Me too Patty. It's all horrifying really. I'm so glad that Cynay and Minnie and everyone here is safe.

I am feeling a little less aggrieved that they took my (empty) Zippo off me at Phoenix now......And I'm glad I'm not flying today because, without a book, I would have to sit through "Failure to Launch" AGAIN.

Seriously, I am very proud of our security services who intercepted the intelligence of this plot. And even prouder of the calm way officials and travellers seem to have dealt with the situation. We are pretty good in a crisis.

And thank you for thinking of me, ICU. You're a treasure.

I was thinking the same thing. Only a trip from Chicago to Boston but still a plane ride.

I would think any who try flying now will need show up 2 hours before flight time.
