Yaaaayy Cynay!!! What wonderful pics and I'm sure it was all most breathtaking live! I'm so happy for you and your daughter. I especially like the one of the gandolier as Venice is absolutely, positively my dream trip. Did it "smell" over there? I've heard from some people that it sort of actually stinks b/c of all the canals. That would be part of its charm for me though LOL.

Thanks it was a trip of a lifetime.... I find it hard to describe.

I did not think Venice smelled, I guess parts of any city smell and yes you could see garbage in the water from time to time...

I thought it was beautiful.... all of it.

Great to see your pics, Cynay.

So what was the highlight?

As you know, I went to Venice in 2004, and I adored it even though I went with R in the death throes of our relationship. I paid for my parents to go as a thank you present and they loved it so much, they are planning to go again in October.

Jazz - I'll come with you on a European trip. There's so much I haven't seen yet. SR vacation for 2008 anyone?

I love Europe, too. Every year I visit my relatives in southern Italy. I'm fortunate my work takes me to great places and I get to spend a lot of time there. I also get to hang in London quite a bit and I adore it there, though I rarely get to venture out in the rest of England, which I'd like to do.

Cynay, I am really glad you had a great trip with your daughter. How was the pace of the trip?

The pace was pretty fast but Im really glad we did the tour, the group was wonderful and gave us other people to have fun with and we saw alot more things then I think we would have on our own.

I might not get back there so even though I did not get a chance to really spend alot of time.... I did get to see/be there.

One of my girlfriends just did a similar one and she loved it, too. That's what I would like about it - meeting new people. Life is funny, isn't it, with it's highs and lows all at once.

Yea your right Denny

I find it strange that on my daughter and I's dream vacation, that he ended the relationship, that I come home to a transportation problem and that I now have to deal with the emotions of loss when I just reached my high.

Ahhh well, not my plan right. Im working on all of it.
