Hi everyone,
I’m just posting for accountability, I didn’t have a good weekend. I have breakfast planned for tomorrow, and plenty of healthy food for lunches and dinners this week, I just need to get it ready, which I will do at lunch tomorrow and tomorrow night.

I can give all kinds of reasons why I didn’t do well this weekend, but bottom line is they are excuses. I need to figure out how to get through stuff without turning to food. I don’t feel good, and I’m sure it’s the sugar, so I need to remember this. Hoping for a good week this week.

Happy Monday

emme....I am right there with you. I went on a binge last week (food binge) and lasted for several day. I have been exercising though which helps. I am going to the grocery store today and only buying healthy foods! Let's do this ....one day at a time.

Hi everyone,
Bethany, it took me a long time to get one day at a time figured out with alcohol, but I finally did and it does help. I hope your grocery shopping goes well! Great job keeping up with exercising too. I need to start exercising, one of these days soon. Glad to have you joining me

Today was a better day, I stayed on plan. I wasn’t able to leave work when I planned so all I got prepared tonight were two taco salads, one I had for dinner and one I will have for lunch tomorrow. They are bringing in food for a lunch meeting tomorrow so it will be good that I have my own food. I got some strawberries cleaned and portioned out too, and those will be for dessert. Feeling good that I got a day back on plan, hopefully the rest of the week will be easier

Emme- 28 lbs down is great!!

I would like to lose 10 to 15 pounds. Not sure if I would be able to keep it off if I try and lose it. My body likes the weight I am at. So I havenít decided if I want to go ahead and try or not.

I exercise every day I just need to clean up my diet a little.

Hi Midwest, thanks for checking in I wish I had never gone on a diet in the first place because I gained back more than I lost multiple times. I think you have more commitment/determination than me so it may not happen to you, but it worries me that it will happen again. Great job exercising every day too!

I haven't been doing well. It's almost like alcohol, except I can't just not eat like I just don't drink. But the mornings are good. Lunch is ok, and late afternoon and dinner time is when I crave bad food. It relaxes me, but then I have guilt, regret, etc., which just makes me want to eat again.

I threw away the left over food I had this morning, and today is day 1 again of eating healthy. I haven't weighed myself, but I know I'm not 28lbs down any more. I need to get a few days and then I will feel better. I've been researching a lot of easy recipes that I can try that will be on plan. I'm off on Friday and want to try out some different foods this weekend.

I hope everyone is having a good week

ok why not but I am going to tell you all . that you will hate me big time
1. how to lose 10 pounds by snapping your fingers
A have your hubby go thro open heart emergency surgery..
B. throw out all sugar salt and foods that are processed
C. no white bread anything in house or going near anything in stores.
D. fresh cook everything every day.. start planning at 5am with your black coffee....
E. walk thro a store and just keep saying NO NO NO NO...
F. find a Chinese food store and buy their fresh vegs and a little fruits.
G. Chicken or fish kids and become creative with a tiny bit of Peanut butter with the Chicken and cook only with olive oil just a little in a hot pan.
H. Little to no pasta or white Rice. and very little potato... no white bread..
I. NO SODA OR BUBBLE WATER nothing flavored just cold water..

and then go to work and do your 3 miles around the building every day..
and from April 7th to a week ago I have lost 10 pounds.. I could bite the cheeks off a young red blood American or English or French young man or older one.. no beef in the house Red meat is also out out out..... wait did I just hear Johnny Depp stroll by.. see you all have to check. if you hear a scream and see him running fast you know I am close behind. hahahahahah
Eddie Lee is doing better .. the doc is very happy with a lot of what I have him doing. he is not leaving for another place on my watch.. ahahhah love you all so much. an Old Lady Hungry Clown with sharp teeth.

Ardy- oh my! I better warn Johnny Depp about you. I am glad Eddie Lee is doing well and great job on all those healthy changes.

Emme- it is hard to keep off the weight. I have lost before and gained it back before too. It took awhile to get up the courage to try again. It is definitely a learning experience.

I wonder if you need to eat a little more at breakfast and lunch or maybe more snacks in-between meals to kind of prepare yourself for the cravings that come later in the day.

The easy healthy meals and trying new foods is a great idea. I have been focusing on eating more veggies this week.

hi Ladies the Cravings are the hardest when you cannot have things in the house.. so do this the oatmeal crunch bars or popcorn you make on the stove . no salt and just a little butter. helps and will help to fill you up too. and drink lots of cold flavored tea with it . to help it move thro the systems.. know I need to drop a little more. at 197 but I work the dock and packages and mail here. so need to be able to keep my size to move 100 boxes at 35pounds each every so often....

ardy, those are some good pointers, thanks for sharing Glad to hear Eddie Lee is doing better. My mom used to make us popcorn on the stove like that, with probably too much salt & butter, but it was good. I might try it, but your healthier way.

Midwest, I'm not really a snack person, but I don't get home until 7-8pm and having something small around 5pm might help because I'm pretty hungry by that time. It doesn't fit in with my diet center plan, but I don't think I'm going to weigh in anymore so I might try it. Thank You! And good job with the veggies

Here's what I've had the last two days:
Tuesday -
Breakfast: 2 hard boiled eggs, 2 melba toast
Lunch: Jimmy Johns turkey on wheat with extra veggies and no mayo and I threw away 1/2 of the bread (not the best but I'm hoping to plan more this weekend)
Dinner: Grilled chicken salad, small apple

Wednesday
Breakfast: 2 hard boiled eggs, 2 melba toast
Lunch: Jimmy Johns (same as Tuesday)
Dinner: Chicken breast, radishes & an apple

Today:
Breakfast: 2 hard boiled eggs, 2 melba toast
Lunch: Chicken breast with 1/2oz cheese, radishes, blackberries
Dinner: I'm trying to talk myself into a salad

A couple of things I'm thinking of making this weekend (and freezing some if they are freezable) are burrito bowls with rice (brown or I have broccoli rice), chicken, a little cheese, tomatoes, green onion, and then stuffed Portobello mushrooms (stuffed with tomatoes and they used mozzarella but I would have to use a hard cheese, topped with balsamic vinegar). I also want to try to make a breakfast casserole or burritos on a low carb, 50cal tortilla. I made the burritos before and they were good.

I hope everyone has a Happy Friday

I think people can get too hung up on weight, obsessing over what the scale says. If you're exercising, you're going to put on some muscle as well and we all know that muscle weights more than fat.

Waste size is the only accurate and healthy way to monitor fat loss. Plus it gives you real, visible results and affirmation. Not just reading the numbers on a, probably inaccurate, scale. Just my .02

I have not been drinking alcohol for 5 months either. But I started to gain weight and it really bothers me. I have regular workouts, but daily weighing shows different data on different days. As it turned out, this is a bad habit and you donít need to do this, thatís the reason in the article https://www.laderamassage.org/weight-loss/172/
