Hola all and happy Monday! Decided to exercise a little bit on my usual chest and back day. 135x12x5 benches nice and slow. Then 3 sets of 12 pull-ups nice and slow. Just body weight. Donít tell my doctor! Felt beat doing only what I did do. Iím really paranoid about making matters worse. The danger is getting hernias through those incisions. If I work out delts and arms tomorrow Iíll just have to swallow my pride and use little weights nice and slow. Itís been great following what you all have been doing. Take care all!

Upstairs- you take care too and listen to the doctor! I am sure you will bounce back just fine once you are healed enough to do so.

Jiggs- it is cool here too. I am glad you were able to squeeze in a walk.

Yesterday I did yard work and walked a few miles at the gym. Today I went back to the gym and did strength training and cardio.

45 minute Strength dvd w/ Shaun T....they use hand weights which I don't have (yet) but it's still a good workout without them: squats, lunges, pushups, planks, you know the fun stuff! I would like to get some light weights and add them gradually.

Hola all! Delts, Triceps, and Biceps day. Just used 25lb dumbbells for everything. I donít feel ready to go any heavier anyway. It really improved my mood a lot, though. Oh, am back at the office again this week too. Tomorrowís routine is Legs and Forearms. Iím thinking no squats, lol. Going to be a while before I try those again. Take care all!

Ya, always best to start light Purps. Those little weights will start to feel mighty huge during those cardio workouts!

Hola all and happy hump day! Legs and Forearms day. Still recovering, so no squats today (which is usually the bulk of my workout). So just leg extensions and curls. Calf raises. Wrist rollers. Ugh. Doesnít take long to lose strength! My workouts this week have been two weeks since my last ones. Eh, I get the feeling I wonít be back up to where I was for another month or so. Maybe Iíll surprise myself. Tomorrowís routine is Chest and Back. Take care all!

Howdy all! Upstairs Damn glad to see you back bud!!!!! And kicking butt like normal! You will get back to where you were in no time. Jiggs good luck to your daughter! Glad to see everyone else getting after it like normal!! Great job to all! Another high volume night. 6x7 paused sauats, 6x7 paused bench, 6x7 OHPs. Than did 7 sets of tire, hammer and bag work. Had a bad day at work. Had to get the evil out. Definitely accomplished that. I'm beat! And smell like the monkey cage at the zoo so definitely shower time. Y'all have a great night and day I'll be back Friday hopefully!

Hola all! Chest and Back day. So 3 sets of 25 reps @135lbs bench press. Three sets of 12 reps of pull-ups. Thatís all! At least doing these I hope will limit the muscle atrophy. Tomorrowís routine is Delts, Triceps, and Biceps. Light weight and lots of reps. Not so bad except bicep curls. I canít do enough reps with a small dumbbell to tire them. As opposed to overhead presses. Seems like anything I lift over my head feels heavy no matter what it is. Meh. Iím going to try and cut grass tomorrow with the old push mower. Iíll just take breaks to make sure everything is ok. Four day weekend, so no hurry in getting that done plus assorted other yard work cardio. Take care all!

Thanks Butcher70. Itís good to be doing as well as I am. Last week, it was an ordeal just getting into my bed, lol.

Afternoon all! Todays workout is done. Not one for the books. Squats went fine. Bench actually went pretty well. Than got to deads. Those didn't go well at all. No injury just felt like I had 800 on the bar. Could barely move weights I've got for reps before. Did miss a rerack on bench. Thank God for safety bars! Smacked face level on right side about 5 inches from my face. If I wasn't awake before I was after that! No good excuse just wasn't paying good enough attention. Taking the weekend off, hopefully yardio tommorow if the rain ever quits. Back on graveyard shift this weekend. Hope all of you have a great Friday night and weekend!!

Hola and TGIF! Delts, Triceps, and Biceps were kinda worked out today. Little dumbbells and lots of reps. Definitely feeling better now. I feel like going heavier , but Iíll wait until I see the doctor on Tuesday. Iím guessing he knows a lot more about what I can do exercise wise without doing something traumatic to myself. Tomorrowís routine is Legs and Forearms. Iíll skip squats. Too much pressure on my core. Maybe Iíll do lunges instead along with the usual extensions, curls, and calf raises.

Just rambling here. I have decent insurance so Iíll survive financially. This appendectomy and associated costs is almost fifty thousand their billing my insurance company for. This is minor surgery! I knew it might be expensive, but cripes. Thatís all for now. Take care all!

Enjoy! or be cranky?

We have a local family that has been active with tiger awareness and programs for decades. Honest, open and willing to step up with their talents, loving hearts and voices.

Hola all! Legs and Forearms day. So I went ahead and did a few sets of light squats. Donít tell the doctor! Went well! Awful how fast you can get out of shape though. You lose flexibility quick. Anyway, no workouts tomorrow. Just mowing the lawn.

Cool pictures Purps! I donít see you doing any yoga with the tigers tho!

Wow! Love those pics!!

Daughter's team won the Regional Soccer Finals on Thursday so next will be elimination rounds to see who moves on to the Provincial Finals!

Yesterday, 12 hour plus day of driving and nearly 2 dozen deliveries, this old guy was whooped afterwards! Car parts can get pretty darn heavy!

Today, full body workout with a variety of dumbbells.

Cleans, Presses, Deads, Renegade Rows With Push Ups, Chest Presses, Weighted Crunches, Squats, Biceps & Triceps.

Everything but the kitchen sink!

Have a great weekend!!

Hola all! Rest day! But I mowed all my grass for my yard cardio. Take that appendicitis! I would have only done half, but it clouded up like a storm was near and cooled down. Had to take advantage of that. Tomorrowís routine is Chest and Back. I think Iím ready to resume my regular exercises, but lighter weights.

Sounds like another good workout Jiggs! Great job!

I've been slacking! I only got one workout done all week and that was the yoga class....I was going to be lazy today, then saw a post on IG from Shaun T that said to leave a comment "if you're not skipping today" ~ [Dammit....] So I put in one of his dvds....
