Goal: run up and down stairs with ease.

With changes perspectives roadblocks become fun hurdles to jump over!

Prayer: God/Great Spirit/Universe,
Grant me eyes to see and ears to hear your presence and guidance.

Meditation: I allow fun, healthy connections with life at every turn, in each step.

I'm in!

Congrats on 500 days MM!

I had a 3 hour Yin Yoga workshop today and it was pretty amazing. Not really what I consider a workout as it was very slow paced and more about experiencing the body, trying to feel your breath, getting in tough and reflecting on your emotions,... and of course some good stretching. I hadn't done any yoga since I broke my leg and I was pleased to see that it was mostly possible. A few of the Asanas were a bit painful in my hip joint and I wasn't able to do them well because of the changed anatomy in my leg but overall I could do most things. Maybe with a bit more time, more healing and more stretching I will gain back a wider range of motion but it probably won't go back to how it was before.

Hola all! Welcome to the new Road! So I guess for this Road I’ll be trimming down. More reps and less weight. More cardio and less food. Really going to miss the food. I plan on losing around thirty pounds or so. Fun times!

So today I did my new Chest workout. 3 sets of barbell bench presses, dumbbell incline / decline presses, and dumbbell flies. Went great! Tomorrow’s routine is Back. I’ll probably reduce the weights there too and do more reps. Honestly, I think I’ll enjoy the new routines for a while. The heavy routines everyday were wearing me out. Take care all!

Howdy all! Glad all is doing well. Kevlar I only did yoga once...it humbled me!! Was not aware I could sweat that much! Keep at it your leg will be there in no time! I should apologize to anyone reading my posts. I don't have a computer only cell so I can't do page breaks. Anyway, absolutely drilled a shoulder workout last night. Was really pumped after it. Did back tonight, went ok but did not have any carbs on board cause my sugar was high at dinner so kinda just went through the motions. Someone on here posted about a workout called good mornings (had to Google it) did three sets of ten at the end, those definitely get the lower back! Had very low weight on but that was enough! Started a bulking protein tonight. Flavor is ok. Gonna try to get to 275lbs and than probably cut to 260. I'm a few inches shy of 7ft so I show no muscle at 240. Well see. Stomach isn't the best some days so hard time eating a ton. Anyway hope all are well and keeping at it!!

Hola all! I also worked out my Back today. Pretty exhausting! It’s my second day cutting back on food and it really showed in the endurance department. I got really gassed for breath towards the end. Me thinks I’ll make sure to eat sooner before I work out after today. Tomorrow’s routine is Delts & Traps.

I also am a few inches short of seven feet tall. Then another few inches. And another few. And...meh! Take care all!

That's incredible that there are two people on this thread who are almost 7 ft tall!
I'm on the short side. I'm 5 feet 2 inches and weighed 123 lbs this morning - before my 4.2 mile run.

Have a good week everyone!

Welcome Mango.

Kev, you're doing great getting back into yoga and your other exercises.

Stella, we're close in stature and weight. I'm 5' 2.5" and hover around 125.

Spin at 11am and it should be warm enough for an outdoor walk/jog at 3pm. I'll take advantage of our Indian summer for as long as it lasts but fairly soon no more biking to work or outdoor exercise.

Hola all! Geez, my silly joke must have fallen flat, lol. I’m 5’ 8”. Anyways! Worked out my Delts & Traps today. Went ok. I didn’t get as tired as during my Back workout. My weight loss is going well, 3.4lbs. So I’m at 217.6. Ugh. I may be able to get below 200 by Halloween. So tomorrow’s routine is Arms unless I get lazy. I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Evening to all of you! Hope all are well. Did dumbells tonight have really been slacking in the dept and I have zero good excuse as to why. Went way better than it had any right to! Pretty happy but I'm worn out. Tommorow deadlifts. Wife is sleeping and I am definitely sitting here plotting to sneak some of her protein cause it tastes better than mine... Anyway hope you all are tearing it up!

Really enjoying where I am mentally and physically today.

1. Bulletproof coffee tends to lift my mood.

2. Played games with kid and by myself.

3. Totally enjoyed some mashed potatoes tonight that were loaded with cream cheese, sea salt and eggs.

Upping my sea salt intake again. I tend to feel much better when doing so. For a long time I had been drinking sea salt water every morning under my doctor's advice. When I didn't need it anymore, I had become more in tune with my body and noticed that. Weird stuff. Bodies and intuition are amazing!

Ha ha ha! I did actually get your joke but was trying to play along
I have a dry sense of humor which does not come out well in emails...

But seriously, upstairs with the weights you lift you must be mostly muscle.

Upstairs, 17.5 lbs by Halloween sounds reasonable and obtainable. Sadly there are no quick fixes that have permanent results other than life style change--done one day at a time, over and over and over. Hmm, sounds like something else we do....

Butcher, I like to think 'I'm tearing it up!'

Enjoyed my weighted fitness walk/little jog yesterday in the warm, beautiful sunshine. Rode the bike to work today. Did my weekly weigh-in this a.m.: 123.6 lbs. I was kinda expecting it to be higher because of a couple weekend splurges. Grateful to be staying steady.

Ditto that!

Scale is steady. I'm eating comfort foods and enjoying them. I'm getting lots of walking in. I have keto goals that are on hold. My emotions are holding steady, too.

This is good progress.

Mango, good for you. I abstain from most comfort foods as I am a recovered food addict and bulimic. Just like the booze, I can't eat "just one". And walking is great exercise.

Today is TRX followed by at least half of the Zumba class. (Zumba starts 20 minutes before TRX ends so if I skip the TRX cool down, I can get some good cardio too!)

And if that's not enough, at 3p I'm going to take advantage of today being the hottest day of the week: outdoor fitness walk/slight jog. Sadly, autumn temps are just a few days away.

Hey all! Worked out my Biceps and triceps today. I skipped yesterday as my right elbow was hurting. Still hurt today, but the pain actually went away during my triceps routine and then reappeared during curls. I think I overextended it during my back workout the other day.

I’ve actually gained a lil weight the last couple morning weight ins. I know it’s water retention, but it’s just a bit demoralizing. I replaced the frozen dinner for lunch today with tuna fish. Maybe that’ll help. Tomorrow’s my Legs day. Take care all!

Resting today. Took a couple walks with puppy, hauled a load of firewood, lit a fire. Snapping, crackling and warm.

Doing some streches and deep breathing. Really open to letting go of stress.
