Good going Soberwolf! Doing a lot of site seeing today, but mostly by car so little walking. My wife recently had foot surgery so she's on one of those scooter things. Normally she can out walk me but now our walking is limited.

Hi, guys.

I did 1.5 hour of boxing today and then some weightlifting with my boxing buddies.

Amazing how often I think I have no power at all and then my body pulls out some hidden resources.

Have a great weekend, everyone.

I ended up walking about 5.5 miles around the campus my son is going to in Boston. None of it very strenuous but at least I was out moving.

Great work on getting your bodies moving everyone.

I have a step counter (yeah!) Yesterday I put on 25000 steps from morning to night. According to the counter, it equivalates to 12 miles.

The steps stack up from doing a variety of things around the house, cleaning, walking, etc.

My arms, shoulders, back and legs ache from washing many walls, windows, and cupboards - we have a big house. SO, it was an extra productive workout.

Today, if weather permits it will be walking and outside work our yard and garden which is 5 acres.

Sorry to hear about your wife's surgery JD.

Have a extraordinary day everyone!

Great stuff SW

Had another active day today - a dual reward of getting the body moving and getting our acre cleaned up, garden weeded, deck cleaned, trees trimmed and then went for a walk.

Right now the step counter is at 15,000. Off to cook a healthy beef stir fry.
Have a wonderful evening.

I walk an hour every morning. Has done wonders for my state of mind and has helped my ongoing weight loss.

Hi, all.

SW - I believe your rain has got to my place. It's raining big fat cats and dogs. I've done at home 20-minutes boxing workout in the morning , so minimum quota of physical activity is met)

Have a great week, fitness warriors!

Good morning everyone.

SnazzyDresser, walking does wonders for my mental health as well. Good for you. :-)

It's been raining here for a few weeks - but, there is nothing in the forecast for the next week, so things may dry up. I hope so.

Today, I will be working on the exercise equipment we have in the basement.

Wishing everyone a marvelous Monday!

Checking in and reporting that I managed to use our Bowflex for various exercises for about 1/2 hour. I did take a few breaks and took things relatively slow. It worked out better than I thought.

Just a little sore tonight.

Have a nice evening.

You all are doing great. All I've done is eaten too much and not gotten much exercise. That's what traveling will do to you. But I'm back home and tomorrow is a new day. I put my YMCA membership on hold over the summer and as of Sept 1 it's active again so I'll be there tomorrow. I'm thinking of getting a personal trainer one day a week to get me back into strength training and keeping me accountable for awhile.
