Exercise and nutrition update

I took an up scheduled rest day yesterday. I'm embarrassed to admit, but Monday and Tuesday's workouts left me pretty sore. There's an old axiom that a "workout is only as good as your recovery," so I figured that I'd back off so that I'd not be too broken down today, when I plan to run some trails through the campground near our house.

Nutrition was good yesterday, except for the evening bowl of ice cream. But I do not want to stress about a small reward-just no booze!

I did step on the scale and I'm down a pound since Monday.
