Tres- proud of and happy for you. 2 1/2 years and incredible accomplishments. Well deserved!
Best of luck at the Peach Tree. That must be pretty big now......can remember it back in the 90's.
Night swimming you will do it!
40 miles back home yesterday.

OK rode an early morning 29 mile ride up canyon.....start packing for Tour tonight. Leave in two days! So psychd!

I posted here and I don't believe ever came back. I need to. I ran my first marathon at 50 1/2. Philadelphia Marathon Nov. 23, 2008. Run two a year plus some century rides (total, not annually) since then. Been injured since NYC in November, but am about to start training with my wife for the Baltimore Half in October and a solo Philly in November.

10km of hills out in the country by my parents last Wednesday. Last few weeks have been an increase for me in the training so had a few days off and ready to get back to it this afternoon.

Rode just over 120 miles on 4 rides this past weekend. Trying to hang onto some fitness gains from Colorado.

Back from vacation. Ran my 5k. 22:28 was enough to win the old man division. Hilly course so pretty good time for me.

Vacations are always interesting. This one especially, lots of family gatherings and lots of drinking. Lots of early morning headaches going around but not for me. Never regret sobriety in the morning for sure. Early flight on just a couple hours sleep, but still a clear head. Done that in the past after a night of drinking. That is the worst.

I hope you are all well and staying busy.

WTG Veryready! 22:28 on a hilly course sounds pretty damn good to me!

Back in from 10km run just there. Was aiming for 15 but I think a mix of too much pasta at lunch and temp in the mid to high 70s held me back a bit. Nosed in just under 54 mins on a reasonably up and down route so pleased with that.

Long run on Sunday and ended up doing a half marathon. Intended to do 10 miles but legs were feeling okay so pushed on. Last 3 miles were VERY tough so know I still have a lot of work to do with my endurance so will carry on with 9, 10, 11 mile long runs in the next few weeks. Was rewarded with a 7.5 min PB (1hr 56 mins) from when I ran my first half in 2012 so really pleased with that. I know I can take a few more minutes off that so my determination is up!

You guys are all amazing!

I'm still running 4 times per week anywhere between 3 and 8 miles. I also love my yoga, bellydance, barre, and spin.

It feels so good to feel good!

I've been riding everyday for the last week. Averaging about 20 miles also. Going for a longer one today. Getting ready for a 113 miler on Saturday. A little nervous. Longest I've done is 89 miles. Yikes!

Dammit!! 40 miles into my ride today and my tire blew out. Scared the crap out of me but no crash so all is well as long as the teenager drives my car safely out here to pick me up. Yikes again.

Hi all. 5.5 mile run today. Took a five day break due to having LASIK Surgery. Wow is it amazing to see without glasses! The run was amazing just because of that. No swimming for two weeks...bummer.

Will hit bootcamps this week.

15.5 mile trail run this weekend. 3,800 feet of climbing. IT band is toast. Not that stressed about it. I wanted to do this run. Figured I would hurt hips, ankles or calves. Didn't think it would be the IT band again. Oh well. I think I will be okay on the bike for a while.

IT band is my nemesis at the moment VeryReady. First my left, it got better, then my right went - noticed I was leading with my right leg running over the past few weeks for the first time in my life. Went a 10k road run yesterday and no pain in either afterwards or today so fingers crossed. Hope you have a speedy recovery and way to go on the 15.5 miles!!
