Three days since my last drink. I'm actually feeling a little better today. The sluggishness may take some time from what I've read. Right now I'm drinking a lot of water and sticking to bland foods. My normal diet consists of lean meats like chicken and turkey, veggies and whole grains. If it weren't for the alcohol drinking I'd say I was taking pretty good care of myself. Guess I just have to ride it out.

I would stick to whole, simple foods (basically exactly what you are doing). I'm not sure where you live but if you are dealing with a heat wave like a lot of people, please be on the look out for symptoms of dehydration.

I have to be really honest, to combat the sluggishness you are feeling-sun. I call it Vit. D therapy. A short walk in the sun can do a world of good.

That is so true about the sun! And your current diet sounds fine, just resume it as you can. Hot tea helped me. I also take a multi vitamin with extra B vit. Someone here told me about it and it's helped. Welcome to SR and I hope you feel better each day!

A short walk and water. I'm working on a prescription pain med detox.. Been sick for 3 days so far. Starting to feel like I can go for a short walk but since I have rods in my spine waking has been an issue unless I'm on my prescription which I hate. Sick from and of them. Anyhow it's sunny where I live and I am gonna get out in it today. This is sort
Of off the alcohol issue because that's not what I am battling anyhow good advice sun and a walk

what kind of upset stomach? Do you have any food intolerances such as gluten or lactose? I'd recommend probiotics for good bactieria (in your stomach) support, increase water, decrease stimulants (such as coffee, tea etc if you take any), eat more fruit and veg and exercise, believe it or not, the more you exercise the MORE energy you have.
hope this helps mate
