Well I ate some turkey and pie tonight. Feel like crap. I eat meat once or twice a month and same with sweets. To do them both one after the other, oh Lord.

I actually did. My cheat was corn chips. Skipped the desserts and even the cheesy potatoes. Today had eggs, yams, almonds, ham, chips and homemade salsa. My dessert was fresh pineapple.

Hi, all.

I havent' been drinking alcohol for 42 days by now, and the first 30 days I sticked to healthy eating. Now it's gradually slipping out of my control. I stared to ead too many cookies, chocolate, etc. And I can't lose a damn pound. It's high time to put a leash on my eating habits again. Wish me luck!

My best wishes to all.

Have a great day!

Hey Midnight! 42 days is Awesome! You know, your body is doing what it needs to stop drinking, my vote, if it wants a cookie, give it a cookie.

I guess what I'm trying to say, is quitting drinking is huge....make that your priority just for right now. The rest of it (diet and all) will fall perfectly into place.

It's just different for everyone....glad you are here! Keep posting your progress!

I have to confess I ate sugar on gobble gobble day...I was only being polite!! My daughter made sweet potato casserole as well as 4 different kinds of desserts and so as not to offend...I had about a teaspoon of the sweet potato casserole plus 1 pumpkin cupcake and 1 slice of a pumpkin roll, I passed on the other 2 desserts...they tasted good but having been off sugar for several months they were all overly sweet to me and I really did finish them just to be polite. I ate good the rest of the long weekend and I think sweated out all the sugar and the gym.

Hi, healthy eaters.

I'm somehow fixed my nutrition yesterday and sticking to it today. I'm going to shop for groceries tomorrow and my major goal is to stay away from aisles with cookies and pastry, because once it is in my kitchen, I will eat it up in a couple of days. Just a cookiholic).

My best wishes to all.

Have a great day.

Well how did the shopping trip go MB?

Same with me, I just have to not buy the crap. Once it's home, it's in my mouth, pretty much.

BF brought (gluten-free) cupcakes home from the organic bakery last night! They're definitely not mom's cupcakes but pretty yummy! I had to go for a run this morning, though! Woke up feeling guilty :\ I try to tell him not to bring that stuff home but it doesn't work and he's just trying to be thoughtful so I can't really fault him too much.

Christmas coming, oh dear.

It is so cold here! I love it. It rains so much that when we get real crisp weather, it's a treat. (for me)

I don't think I welcomed you yet MidnightBlue. Welcome! Hope you stick around and post.

I've been not doin great, but okay eating wise. Today was a good day. Huge salad with lottsa fat and protein. Some chicken I slow cooked in hot sauce with spinach. Some left over almond pancakes. If I had enough almonds I woulda made more.

Paleo pancakes. I've posted how I make them before.

2 cups almond flour (I make my own).
8 eggs.
Shredded apple or whole berries.
Cinnamon

Mix the ingredients. If it is too runny, I add a bit more almond flour. Cook in pan with coconut oil. Eat with almond butter, fruit or honey.
