That's ok Coffee.

We ate out today. Pretty bad but ok. Lot of dressing with the food. Had an avocado burger, which is a burger with avocado slices. Skipped the bun. Lot of bread on some chicken pieces though. Other than that bad meal, some eggs fruit and veggies.

We got some meat from the grass fed / organic meat store today. Will also be ordering half a grass fed organic cow next week.

Tomorrow we are having a couple over. I am going to cook for everyone! Get to make my - slowly becoming world famous - guacamole! Will also make some chicken. I put Cheyenne pepper, sea salt, and regular / smoked paprika on it...yummy!

I am so picky when we eat out..by the time I get done having them put all sauce/mayo on the side and having it cooked "well done" I probably should have stayed home as then they screw it up. It's a big joke in our house.

I had 8 pieces of pizza last night for dinner.

Then a mini 100 calorie bag of microwave popcorn, a banana, decaf green tea for late night snack.

This morning I had a half cup of oatmeal, small glass of milk, coffee, diet mountain dew.

Lunch: eggs, soup, spinach salad, doritos with salsa sauce, a coke. It's been a long time since I've had just a regular coke. I had a craving for it so I just went and had a coke with lots of ice.

Went outside and cut the lawn for the first time this year. I've got a push mower. It takes an hour to cut my lawn. Then I was going to get my electric chain saw out and cut down a tree that's pretty much dead. But got caught up with some other stuff so that will have to wait.

Afternoon snack: A gala apple, banana, raisins.

Dinner, went to Kroger's and picked up a rotisserie chicken to take home and ate the top breast part on both sides. Then I had a few medium baked potatoes.

Then that darn sweet tooth hit me again. I told myself before dinner no sweets since I had that coke earlier. But my eyes kept on rolling towards my wife's homemade cup cakes sitting on the counter. Then I played the game of getting closer and looking at the frosting on top. Finally I just gave in and ate one and had some ice cream with it. Oh well, it's the weekend.

Not sure what's happening with late night snack.

Staaaaaaaaaaarving for sweets, today. Finally, I just cut up the biggest 'Jazz' apple I could find (those are really, good apples) and now I'm dipping it in sugar free caramel. I realize that's wrong on so many levels...but it's doing the job.

8 pieces of pizza! Dang! I'm making history if I reach for a third. You do work out hard, Uncle...you can handle it.

After being good on Friday and Saturday and then getting up and working out hard yesterday morning I was bad yesterday...It all started when I took Peaches out for a walk around 12:30 and my friend and neighbor Charlotte was standing outside her house with her little pug and she had an apron on (Charlotte is the "mother" I wish I had although she's not quit old enough to be my mom I love her like a mom and Peach loves her dearly as well and Peachy hates most everyone) well when Char has an apron on that means she's baking and is a 'world famous' (ok neighborhood famous) baker, she invited the Peach and I inside and I ooohed and aaahed over pies and bread she was baking for a neighbor and then she told me she had made chocolate chip cookies the day before and had a baggy set aside just for me! There were 8-10 cookies in the baggie and of course I ate ALL of them by the time I went to sleep last night! Yesterday was a cold (only in the 50s!!!) rainy day and I didn't feel like doing anything so I ate junk all day, cookies/popcorn/jelly beans/crackers & PB/ I ate nothing healthy except for dinner I ate watermelon....oh well there are worse things I could have done.

Uncle and Judy - Wow...you go all out when you're bad! You two are entitled to some cheats, especially since you are at most your other goals.

Coffee - Yummy.

I've been doin ok last few days. Other than some chips, have primarily stuck to meat, veggies and fruit.

Judy: I used to have a dog named Peaches, he was a Chihuahua. I kid you not! And.....if someone makes choco chip cookies for you and it's raining, they Must be eaten!

I had fruit pizza for lunch. I gotta knock that crap off when I know I'm running...just doesn't set well. Live and learn!

Ghostly: Have you seen those new Kellogg 'chips'. They come in a box. They seem 'better' than chips, you get more for the same calories and they really do taste good.

Coffee-Fruit pizza? is that a real pizza w/fruit on it? I love fruit and I love pizza just not together. Peaches had her name when I adopted her, she was a puppy mill rescue and her coat when grown out is the color of "peaches and cream".

Good luck with the fasting Ghost and the test hope it's nothing too serious.

I behaved yesterday-fruit for breakfast-tuna salad for lunch-chicken strips and spinach for dinner-almonds, gluten free pretzels, dried fruit for snacks.
I've got to be in a meeting all day tomorrow at a hotel so I will likely eat bad...heck the only way I can stay awake in meetings is to keep snacking...but I should be out of the meeting by 3 so I'll be able to hit the gym earlier than usual so can stay longer.

Fruit pizza is sugar cookie dough with frosting and fruit on top. Sooooo good!

Ghostly: Ick on the fasting, you needed your yogurt treat. And just think what most people consider a treat. Probably something dumb like fruit pizza!

Good luck on those tests. May they pass quickly.

^ Yes they do Coffee. I would fill myself up on regular pizza so much I wouldn't normally have much room for the dessert.

I did good today. Ate some veggies before my work out. Worked out and had squash and carrots with pepper and sea salt for post work out. Squash is very carb dense, and wanted to experiment with high healthy carb after my work out. Then went home and ate a LOT! Had four eggs, a lot of bacon (nitrate free, uncured) and asparagus, squash, spinach and onions. All cooked in coconut oil. Wanted to eat a lot cuz I had a decent work out, and I start my fast (sp?) in a bit. Will prob have some grass fed sausage and coconut milk before I start that.

Breakfast: 3/4 cup old fashioned 5 minute oatmeal with large glass of milk, coffee, diet mountain dew with lots of ice.

Lunch: Tuna, eggs, raisins, peanuts, banana, gala apple.

Afternoon snack: Anns house soy energy blend from Costco. I usually have milk with this but haven't in the last few days. I'm considering not having milk with afternoon snack as I'm starting to feel I really don't need it since I have it for breakfast. So far I've been able to hold up fine without it until dinner.

Dinner: Sesame chicken. Baked potato. Single scoop of Edys triple chocolate peanut butter sundae 1/2 the fat ice cream in a ice cream cup. Yummy.

Late night snack: Greek yogurt with raspberries, strawberries and blueberries. Decaf green tea.

Uncle - Just the addition in a month of all those fruits and veggies is amazing! Nice job. I found it really easy to add it here and there till I was getting quite a bit. People that think it is too hard to get fruits and veggies are really missing out.

Wednesday I was fasting so had water and then some popsicles (one of the only thing I could have) which I was really grateful to of found. Given that I don't normally drink soda, and don't have much sugar, I didn't think it was going to be too difficult to just have water all day. Should have gotten some of the soda and Jello they allowed. Made it through though.

Thursday I still didn't get to have solids till about 3pm. Oh....boy, did I make up for things then. Got three Super Slices from Rocky's Pizza. Thursday they have The Chicago, which is my favorite pizza from Rocky's, but hadn't had it in weeks. It was so dam good! Also had a bag of Doritos and TWO Diet Pepsis! Cut me some slack, had to go without solid foods for over 40 hours! Alo had some fruits and veggies.

Back on track today. Some eggs, grass fed sausage and veggies. Think I had a little fruit. As I write this, a new recipe is cooking that I am trying for the first time. Put some spinach, onions and jalapenos in a food processor. Grated a yam. Took one pound of grass fed ground beef. Two eggs. Mixed em all together, and making meat balls! Better be good. The grated yam is an interesting touch.

Ghostly, I think you need to treat yourself every now and again. You've been doing Great!

I agree that it's not as hard as I thought it was to add fruit...but I really have a hard time with veggies. I'm trying....but dang!

I am so addicted to Diet Pepsi. It's bad. But, I guess it's not beer, so I'm not complaining!

Will be curious to know how your meatballs come out.

Last couple days have been pretty good. Yesterday took my parents out to lunch with my wife and the baby. Had a salad. The bad parts were breaded chicken, some cheese and lots of dressing (just the sugar, don't care about the calories and fat). Other than that meal, been stickin to my diet of meat, veggies and a little fruit.

Still been doin pretty good. Had a couple days where I had corn chips with my guac instead of carrots. Also, yesterday had pizza! Other than that been sticking to meat, veggies and a bit if fruit. Did end up getting the grass fed, organic cow...well actually half a cow. I had to put in an outlet, and then we got a freezer.
