Did an extra day in the gym yesterday on account of me eating like a pig while watching the Saints TOTALLY DESTROY the Arizona Cardinals.

Hey Live, any chance they were Hi-Liner Tilapia fillets? They are actually the loins and are wonderful.......Oops, I sound like I am on my "What's for Dinner?" thread......

Seems like I am not the only one who indulged in all the football food! As promised to myself I will make up for a good portion of it by doing some extra cardio today.

I am going to try and increase my yogurt intake. I read that it decreases fat absorption, anyone heard of that?

Have a healthy day today all.

I love yogurt and yes, it is on the losing weight list

Ate all the fish, will have to see what brand it is later.

A yogurt lover here, too. For a nighttime snack, I mixed a LF key lime pie yogurt w/pecans, apple and choco chips. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Not a peach pie fan, but I'll bet I could turn it into a raspberry cheescake pie!

Fub, glad you battled that cold.

LOW CAL day! My appointment is next week so haven't weighed.
Been lazy on my bum....but am wide awake, so I can still do some stuff.
Found a community center with the parks dept that has a universal gym (my favorite) for only $50/yr.
Got to pay for the wedding first tho'!
I will resist my nightime snacking...that is always my downfall.

Lucky for me I didn't have the same temptation as you crazy septics had for eating crap while watching the footy, although I did have a little square of baked apple cheese cake yesterday - nice!

First day of the new running plan yesterday, hmm... think I'm going to have to have a little word with Mrs Shifty, it was a ball breaker! I've developed an intense pain in my upper back, probaby over done it working around the yard. I went to the physio today and she went to work with her thumbs of steel - Ouch! Hope I can get this sorted out so I can start lifting some weights soon.

Diet still going ok, although we're having friends over for a curry night tomorrow so might have to indulge.

Over did the running that resulted in a swollen left knee. Rested yesterday instead of going out...resting today...taking ibuprophen...going skiing in Utah this weekend and I hope to be semi-healed by then.

If not, I sit by a fireplace and look at the moguls of those around me.

Week 3 Day 3
Chest day today. I haven't missed any weight exercises since the start of the challenge but I only did 20 minutes cardio yesterday because I have a sore shoulder. It is nothing I won't be able to work through though.
If it isn't one thing it is another.
No problems on the eating front. Just finishing off my Fibre One cereal and then it is off to the gym.
Have a good fit day.

Lifted weights today and 30 min on the elliptical .......it sure feels good when you walk out of the gym. It's really helping my mental attitude and I think it helps me sleep at night!

Carry on peeps!!

3.5 km on the treadie this morning. Did it at a faster pace which was more difficult (obviously). Running plan seems to be structured with a tempo run on Mon, shorter but fast on Wed and longer but slower on Fri.

Haven't weighed myself again yet but the Mrs said I'm looking slimmer which is cool

Eating was fine, today. Finally starting to become a habit, I think, MUCH in thanks to this thread.

I've hurt my foot...which is affecting my cardio which is affecting my mood. Much like VC, I just feel better after a workout.

I'm still trying to come up with a clever response to windy's thread.....

dammmmmmmmmmmit fub, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

here I am to admit defeat once again. My diet is solid, but it has been for a couple of years now. The gym is the first thing to go when I am busy, meaning I am never there.

Someday I am really going to make an entire challenge with you! Save one for when I get retired buddy

good low cal day....got around nice and early and walked a couple of parks looking for a good one, found one good enough with a gazebo. It is just after midnight now...having touble sleeping...went to bed before 19, woke up at 10: 45 swearing it was time to get up.
And I have...with a decaf coffee now...it is quiet and still out and I think I might go walk a coupla blocks or so.
I am going to throw a fit at my next appointment...this little sleep thing is past ridiculous.

I did a trail run in the foothills last Saturday. I donít know how long, but Iíll guess 3 miles. Iíve been working every day since, so exercise has not happened. I need to go to sleep now, but I will persist with the challenge to best that time permits.
