Week 2 Day 7
My cold has taken hold buy I am up for the morning meal anyways. I will skip the after breakfast walk and go back to bed though.
I am glad it is not a gym day. If I can get in the remainder of the after meal walks the worst will be over.
See you all tomorrow.

Hang tough, Windy. Youíll be glad when youíve given up the cigarettes for good.

Hope you feel better Fubar. I donít really think that there is any point in exercising when youíre sick. Just go to bed until you feel better.

Shifty, any reason to run is a good one.

Vicious, if mopping and scrubbing floors counts, Iíll take two hours credit for that this weekÖ.kind of a boring brutal, painful way to get exercise, though.

I donít drink soda. It gives me the hiccoughs.

I drink WAAAAAAAAAAAAY too much coffee.

I mentioned when I started that I have a lot going on. Itís good to force myself to set some of that aside in the name of prioritizing fitness. This year, Iíd like to set my life up a little better so that I have the time to exercise more.

Last night I ran 5 miles in 50 minutes and 40 seconds.

Iím averaging 2 days a week so far.

Itís good to have the support of this thread.

Windy, as I type your Saints are kicking some serious a$$. I am glad, I wanted them to win as well since my team tanked.

Today, I went to the gym, Saturdays sure are busy but did some weights till an elliptical opened up and then did 40 minutes, then back to some weights. Took a steam...I am glad I went. Came home and made some potato skins to go with the game.

I hereby declare that Sunday will be my official day of rest. It really does feel good to be back at it. It is doing wonders for me mentally, even if I never lose the muffin top!!!

I know I sound like I am eating all crap, but I really have reintroduced some healthy foods into the days.......like apples. Anyone ever had a Honeycrisp apple? You can only get them at certain times of the year. They are awesome.

You get the credit Freepath......2 hours, good job. If you want some more hours you are more than welcome to come to my house!!

Anyway, back to the game.......

I got in way more activity Thursday and Friday than my norm. Tired today...rested.
Am eating fewer calories, but still haven't properly cleaned up my diet. As others have said, I am just not ready to give up my caffeine free, diet pop. I hear it is way unhealthy.

Hi Fub and all...

I need more discipline in my frequency and focus of workouts. I believe this thread will help. I'll try to get my thoughts together and show up here. Thanks and Take care all.

These are in the order that you posted last week in case someone is wondering why so and so's name is first. I know how the alkie mind works.
My cold is getting better and I hope to be good as new tomorrow.
I should have rested but instead I let insanity prevail and powered through. Even my wife thinks I am a nutbar.
Thanks to all who expressed concerned. The Fub lives on. Now get out there and put in a big effort today.
One for the Gipper.

Hi Fub and Friends who are doing an awesome job of keeping me on the straight and narrow...and out of the Bakery.

I've lost 3 pounds since I joined this thread. Really...I've just been keeping the Veggie/Fruit/Yogurt intake up. I do hope this 12 week challenge is that change that can make it a permanent life change....it isn't hard, I just have to do it.

Hope everyone had a Great Sunday!

Edited to add....I'm old enough to know the Gipper answer without googling.

Congratulations on a 3 pound loss in 2 weeks coffee. That is awesome. Add in all the exercise and your muscle composition has probably increased to which translates to an even larger loss of fat weight.
Cubile It was Notre Dame but the gipper is George Gipp but he was played bt Regan so you are mostly correct.
Week 3 Day2
I am feeling better and looking forward to hitting the gym this morning.
Glad I was able to tough out that cold.

I am glad you are feeling better Fub!
Saturday I was good on the diet, but not on the excercise....fatigued
Yesterday pffffft, altho' I discovered these tilapia filets that are frozen in individual bags and you can just pop them in the wave for 3 minutes and then add lemon pepper and a bit of fresh parmesan and yummy.....my eating will get better when I go to the grocery. I had too much sugar yesterday...
have an appointment today and will get to weigh myself. I hope it is at least a little bit lost!!!! Damn meds keep pounding (pun intended) the weight on!
