My capacity for great depth of feeling. Sobriety and Recovery make it possible to enjoy depth without extreme peaks and valleys. Also helps to have a means, a way to transform my thinking and my responses to negative situations so that my capacity for feelings like fear and despair and bitterness do not take over my life. Today I can savor joyous and grateful feelings without being so euphoric that I'm slave to wanting to stay in euphoria. Thanks for G(ood) O(rderly) D(irection) from my beloved G(roup) O(f) D(runks) who make my life richer than I would have ever imagined sobriety could be while I was yet still stuck in the bottle.

I have a pretty good sense of humor. And I make mean hamburgers for a vegetarian.

One thing I love most about myself is that I have 9.8 years sobriety through A.A.

The one thing I love about myself is the empathy I have for others.

One thing about myself I would never change is my love for dogs. They are healing. They remind me to not take myself so seriously & love me despite all my shortcomings.

My immense curiosity is the biggest thing I would not change. It is an integral part of everything I do.

My sense of humor, it gets me through the day. My compassion...harder to love and never, ever change but it is the best part of me. Hence the need for the sense of humor.

My sense of humor. Oh yes. I'm funny as ****, although sometimes I do use a few too many swear words for some people's liking.

Smile consideration

The one thing I love about myself and wouldn't change is how I am considerate to other people. It is one quality I have always consistently expressed and have been told I am "too nice."

My ability to woo women with merely a passing glance.

Oh wait, this is NOT the wish list thread. My bad

(My irreverent sense of humor and my intellect.)

never change

One thing I would never want changed is my sensitivity to others problems, it is nice to have a sense of awareness when someone is in need, I can sense that when others I know are incapable of doing so.

I am a very kind and gentle person. I was wallowing in my own sorrow. Now I have a clearer mind.
