Please Pray For my Husband

My husband has had some close calls with his health due to his alcoholism, but none of them have been his rock bottom.

A few days ago he went to his liver doctor because he's been feeling sick. (extreme fatigue, low grade fever off and on, loss of appetite, bruising easily, etc.)

The doctor suspects cirrhosis and today my husband had to get an ultrasound to determine the severity of the disease. I'm scared. I just turned 39, our anniversary is a month away, and I can't imagine living my life without him. Please pray for him that the tests will come back as best as they can. Pray for his liver to be healed. (and yes, I know it's irreversible, but He can do anything!) Thank you

LPS, praying that this incident will enable your husband to become honest, open and willing to recover. By the way, the liver is capable of regenerating tissue, but you've got to put the plug in the jug for that to be possible (no guarantees). The sooner he quits entirely, the better his chances, but doubtless his doctor has already told him this.

Prayers for both of you, this can be overcome with willingness, determination, and faith.
