Not sure what device you're using but If you're accessing the site via a browser and in desktop view the chat room portal is a little grey arrow at the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

click that and you see 'chat room' with 25 users in it right now - you can click that 'chat room' to enter.

Sorry, you had trouble entering the Chat room, Badassblizzard.

Like Dee said, as long as you can post, we can help.

Hope you try again!

Pretty soon only hackers will be able to use the internet. I have found two commercial sites that I like to do business with, but whose formats are so unintuitive and poorly designed that buying stuff from them is an exercise in frustration. I think they rely on walk in customers, and the internet must be just an afterthought.

I made a purchase from one yesterday, and got no response. When I called customer service, I was told their computer was down. Yeah... maybe, but it must be down a lot, because this happens all the time.

Note to business owners: Don't hire the cheapest web site designer you can find. Preferably hire someone who is familiar with programming.
Having said that, I find SR relatively easy to use. There are a couple of minor things I would change in the menu, but then I hate it when a workable website changes its format. A new programmer comes in with all these fancy pants creative ideas and animated graphics, and suddenly, you can't figure out how to get to someplace that used to be one click.

It's in the lower right corner inside a little white box. The arrow looks pinkish to me.

Dee, every time I post a chat in Recovery Connections the only reply I get is the "Welcome to Recovery Connections" post. What's the secret?

Hi Jillga

As discussed, I tried and it seemed to work for me... you might have to check out other rooms if the one you’re in is empty?

Of yes. This site needs work.

I couldn't agree more. This site needs an overhaul. It's like going back to 1999. Best of luck to you.

SR has had several upgrades over the past few years and I think it works just fine.

I've started learning the basics of computer coding and Web design and I can say that with all the traffic in this site it's fairly easy to use on both desktop and mobile and I think that whoever the IT team is that keeps this site running does an amazing job. Some other recovery forums I've used are very hard to understand so I don't stick around, I think SR works well, it's basic and easy to understand..
