You can hide the new chat feature if you don't want it, and you can mute the sounds.

I think the whole idea of it is awesome. ♥

I'm having trouble working out chat too. Never used it before. How does it work? I need instruction. Haveachat.

I'm not sure what problems you're having Steely? You simply click on the blue/pink box on the bottom right of your screen and chat away.

I'll be more than happy to help if you need further instructions.

Maybe we can share some experiences that would validate some of our thoughts?
For me, I've experienced a limit to how much I can enter into a chat box, so I need to send and start a new box. I've had trouble editing and have lost an entry while doing so before I can send.

I do like the new chat, I realize the only way to embrace and learn is to use it; kinda like AA mettings!

Thanks Opi, I'll click that little blue or pink box and give it ago. At one of my failed attempts I did notice that there is a limit to how many 'characters' you can use as breath says. Is that the case?

Yes Steely there does seem to be a limit.

I'm not sure anything can be done about it. I'm waiting for an update from our tech's.
