I don't like Java!

I've downloaded Java on both IE and Chrome. It just won't recognise it!

It being my temperamental PC!

My husband said it probably wasn't that active anyway.....he thinks anyone past 30 is a Luddite..lol

I am looking forward to dealing with my own IT issues. Now...I get frustrated and once I start drinking I can't get anything to work.

I want to chat..are there other places? it's just that often I feel most needy very temporarily. Once it passes, I'm ok. Problem is...when I feel t hat way I drink and i feel better.

Have you used Firefox?
Java seems to work ok on that.
Problem is...when I feel t hat way I drink and i feel better.
I can't let a prime statement of AV (addictive voice) go by like that

I used to think I felt better too but what I thought was 'better' was merely only the temporary absence of my ever present angst.

The angst always returned, usually two fold, cos I'd disappointed myself again by drinking.

deal with/cure the angst for good and the AV has nothing to feed on anymore.

Hope you can get Chat working

D

Hi Merigold!

Sorry you're having difficulty with java. I use java along with Firefox and have no problems.

You can always use the Newcomers forum to vent your frustrations.

Java no longer works in Chrome. Firefox is what I use. It should work in IE.
Double check your installation.

I can't get it to work in IE or Chrome. I downloaded the newest version and re-started my computer. I will google firefox to see if I can get it to work that way.

Sinderos, try Firefox and make sure your Java is up to date.

I hope this helps!
