Friday Night Chat Meeting!
Hi SR Friends! 
There will be a Friday Chat Meeting @9pm EST.
Please come and join us in the Meeting Room. (click on the Chat Room, upper right, highlighted in blue)

Topic's related to Recovery will be the basis of sharing each week. There will be "NO Cross Talking" permitted during the meeting.!! If you need to discuss something with another member please do so in a private message. If you would like to share during the meeting please indicate your intention to do so by typing an exclamation point !. Please wait until I call upon you. When you are finished, type "DONE".
We ask that you remember, the meeting is only one hour and to be considerate of the time you use. If you need to leave before the meeting has ended, do so quietly. If you feel strongly about what someone is saying, you may acknowledge them with a one or two word phrase.

Question.... Mobile device users are only allowed access to the main room. The meeting takes place in the meeting room correct? If so I may still not be able to join. I was hoping this feature would allow me to participate in meetings.

The Tuesday and Friday Meetings will remain in the designated room. (Meeting Room)
As of right now you can access the main Chat Room....Recovery Connections.
I apologize to all members that cannot access the meetings with their phones, perhaps at a later date this may be an option.

Our wonderful Administrator Emily430, has figured out how to access the Tuesday and Friday Meetings via Mobile.

1. I have figured how how to join different rooms while on the mobile version of Chat. When you first log on you'll be put in Recovery Connections. Simply type in
/join "name of room"
(replace the text "name of room" with the name of the room you want to enter, e.g. "meetingroom")
Hit Enter
You'll see text that says
"left Recovery Connections"
"joined MeetingRoom"
You should now be in the room you wanted to go to.

Hi John!! Everyone is welcome I do believe Just get on the "chat" and enter the meeting room... There will be plenty of helpful supporters there to help get you to the right place!!! It has been an awesome way for me to spend the last two Friday nights (sober) and I am so excited for Friday night #3 tonight at 9!! Hope to see you there!!
