Hey all chatters..
Im posting this in hopes to help understand why it is we ask you not to sleep in the rooms ok , Maybe your not sleeping but its one word that discribes whats going on

The reason we ask you to PLEASE not do this is , its esspecially busy this time of yr and us mods do need some time away from here , So when were not there and theres a group of people who are away makin dinner and eatting or takin a bath or watching a tv show or doing work , what ever it is , we please suggest that you log out and return when you have time to visit and share with others who need to hear your experiences ,

Its happened alot that newbies come to the room and they see all these chatters in the room , and yet not one of those chatters makes it a point to say hello and make them feel welcome , Its not a good feeling when you come to chat lookin for support and feel ignored , Its not that were trying to be mean , were just trying to get everyone into a habit of leaving the chat room and come back when your done , .. i mean 5 or so minutes is fine and all that just if your silent for long periods of time and we call on you and dont answer .. were gonna put you in the " I will not sleep in the chat room . room

so please everyone .. can ya try and not sleep in there .. thanks a bunches huggles the Mod Squad

I'd like to echo Endzy's sentiment.

The chatroom is very busy these days, and it's disconcerting to have a bunch of people online who are not actively participating in the chatroom.

If you're involved in private conversations, by all means feel free to do so.

However, if you're away from your computer, please remember to log out of chat... unless you don't mind winding up in the Sleepytime room

Okay, if you've installed the appropriate Java module for your browser (you can check this at java.com: Java + You ), getting into the chatroom is easy. Scroll up to the blue SR navigation bar, click on "Chat Room", then select either "Enter Chatroom" or "Enter Chatroom (float)". The "float" version will open a new window, whereas the regular option will embed the chatroom within your current window.

If this doesn't work, please PM me, we should be able to sort it out

I hate it when people enter chat and no one acknowledges them! Like really? You can't say hi? If that happened to me when I first started going into Chat I probably wouldn't have went back. I was uncomfortable enough.

At the same time...sometimes I do enjoy loggin in and just seein what everyone is chattin about. I do try to watch though and respond if someone asks me something.

Anyway...thanks Chat mods...you all rock.
