A Shame....
The chatroom has seems to have gotten a little callous. Not enough support for the newcomer especially.
In my way of thinking the newcomer is fragile and totally unsure of themselves taking the risk to search for others and answers. They deserve to brought into the fold warmly which means actually focusing on them like those who did for us when we were new. If you aren't able to stay in that mindset then there are other rooms you can utilize.
Sometimes an old face will come in with a new crisis, just needing a lil love and understanding and is given war stories or just plain "who cares" attitude. Once again if you can't be there for the newcomer or the suffering "older" member than please go to another part of the chat!.

The Chat Monitors make every effort to ensure that all members in chat are treated well.
If there is a newcomer in Chat, who is struggling, don't hesitate to suggest that he post on the message boards.
