No crashes or tips over intended. It has a steady cruise control which locks me into a brisk walking pace which is nice for being around other people

Horns are not great but they never are.

Hubert seems to be the name

ooh. Shiny! I like the rear view mirrors. Does it have a camera on the rear for backing up like those posh huge SUVs?

Glad it got assembled.

I had to order an extra rear view mirror cos they routinely only come with one these days

no camera
I am considering something tho if I can find something suitable

Snazzy! We should christen it, like a ship on it's maiden voyage (with a nice bottle of plain water, of course )

Hubert is a good name. A long time ago I had a 10 speed bike and had a fish-eye rear view mirror on it. That was so helpful. Glad you've got two of them. So its had its maiden voyage? Many happy journeys ahead.

Cool ride! If it ain't too nosy I was just wondering
why Hubert seems to be the name
I once had a German auto that I named Otto, said with a slow Southern drawl, it made sense to my nonsense side. So I was curious if there is back story to Hubert...or just because.

No back story at all - it just looks like a Hubert

Would love to hear about your first trip out with
it when you have time. Was it to grocery shop?
A trip around the neighborhood or park?

Is it easy to maneuver thru the isle and around
other folks?

How about a little bell on it to ring folks you are
coming their way? Or is it a horn? Maybe like
a door bell with your choice of ring or tunes to play.

I went to the grocery shop in the mall Sharon for the first time in a long time.
I don't want to go too far until its both insured and registered - got the first one of those done today tho.

Its a lot easier to maneuver than my old one but because there's quite a big bag at the bag (very useful for shopping) it's still not a beast I can do a 3 point turn in an aisle in - maybe 4 or 5 point turns, lol

Its electric and even more silent than my old one tho so I have to be super aware of folks cos they are often not aware of me at all.

The horns on these things are really poor - they make a single peep noise thats not very attention getting - so I'm doing what I did what I did with my old one - using an old bulb horn I attach to the front.

Its like a clown horn, but it gets people moving out the way LOL.

I have seriously considered getting one of those for my motorcycle because it also has a pitiful horn. Clown horn is a pretty apt name...it is to get the clowns out of the way!!!

LOL, I can see you blowing the horn and moving people out of the way. It looks beautiful and I'm glad it's so maneuverable.

I would very much like to have a clown horn at the grocery!

Sounds like a great addition to your life.

There was a guy in my old neighborhood who had a scooter with a clown horn and a raccoon tail flying off the back. He was a happy man. Very good people should let their presence be seen, heard, and remembered!
