I can't say I prefer the company of dogs over people, but I do value dogs' companionship a lot and find it necessary to live with them.

Here's my favorite picture of Billie - in the sunlight. She no longer wears that neon orange collar, she has a Mutts collar and it looks better against her black fur than that orange one did.

Purps, did you watch Amanda last night? I did. I really like her and her kids. She is a good person. I watched the new Pit Bulls too, except I started to fall asleep so I can't remember it that much. They'll likely show it as a rerun. I hope your painted rocks do well! Take care and love to you. ♥♥♥

I was all ready, and then fell asleep early! I'll have to catch one of the reruns + Pit bulls too. Glad you're enjoying it

I know, I was tired too and fell asleep early. Look at how responsible we've become. Going to bed and falling asleep early on Sat night. I remember some Sat nights coming in very, very late. So glad that is no longer my life. I'm so glad I'm sober too, if not for me but for the dogs I do my tiny bit for.
Purps, I'm glad you told me about Amanda being such a good show. Now I'm a huge fan.
Take care my darling one. ♥♥♥

Purps, I was channel surfing and saw that too. I may check it out. It looks like they are going to award service dogs, ie, dog who go to war, sniff out drugs and bombs, etc. I think. I just found out that one section of the service, I can't remember which one, that once the dog's "usefulness" is done, they euthanize them. I think that is horrible and so many of those great dogs could be rehomed with some work from one or some of their trainers. Sometimes they buy these dogs for well into the 5 figures sometimes. I practically started crying when I read that story, which is why I can't remember the whole thing.
It looks like these are the dogs who got to stay with someone, which is great.
Thanks! Have a good evening, dog lovers! ♥♥♥
Thanks again Purps! I probably wouldn't have watched except for your reminder. I love your good shows and how you tell us about them. Awesome!

Hey fellow dog lovers

Today I went to work at a side gig that I do a couple times a week ~ food prep, etc. but anyway their neighbor has this sweet Chihuahua named Casey So naturally I have to stop and say hi whenever I see him outside. The guy said he may need a pet sitter on occasion and asked if I would be interested!

Great news Purps. I hope it works out. You get paid to take care of a dog. Maybe you can make it into a little business. My niece who is a swim coach also babysits dogs and walk dogs too.
Yay! ♥

Reminds me of my big German Warmblood horse. I'd clean her stall out and if I turned my back on her, she'd go over to the wheelbarrow all of her poop was in and dump it! She also was the only horse in the barn that knew how to open her stall. In the morning, the owner of the place, said she'd find her in the hay bar helping herself to breakfast! So she ended up getting a chain on her door! Sometimes, she'd even let another horse or two out!
Animals can be so funny sometimes. I love little stories about their antics!
Love to all our animal lovers. xxoo
